CashKitty

Terms of service.

The agreement between you and CashKitty. Short, and meant to be read.

The agreement

By creating an account or using CashKitty you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

CashKitty is provided by Deepchain Labs, of Plot No. 01, Road No. 13 (Garib-E-Nawaz Avenue), 6th Floor, Sector No. 13, Uttara, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh, trade licence TRAD/DNCC/019595/2023. In these terms we means Deepchain Labs and you means the person using CashKitty. More about the company is on About us.

Your account

You need an account to use CashKitty, and the details you give us should be accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us at support@cashkitty.app if you think someone else has got into it. You must be at least 13 years old.

Your data stays yours

Everything you record in CashKitty belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it back to you, sync it between your devices and share it with the people you choose to share a wallet with.

You can export your records at any time, and we handle them as described in our privacy policy.

Using it fairly

Please do not:

  • break the law with it, or use it to launder money or to defraud anyone;
  • upload malware, or files you have no right to share;
  • try to get into another person’s account, or into parts of the service that are not meant for you;
  • hammer the service in a way that degrades it for others, or scrape it with automated tools;
  • resell the service as your own.

Shared wallets and links

When you invite someone to a wallet, or create a link to a wallet’s details, you are choosing to show them that information. What they do with it afterwards is outside our control. Revoke access when you no longer want it to be seen.

Plans and payment

CashKitty has a Free plan, which has no time limit, and Premium, which is paid for in advance — a month at a time, or once with Lifetime. What each plan includes, and what Premium costs, is shown on the Premium page in your account before you buy; you always see the price and what it is for on the screen where you choose it. Nothing is payable until you choose a paid plan yourself.

How payment is taken. Payment is taken on cashkitty.app by SSLCommerz, our payment gateway. You can pay by card, mobile wallet or internet banking. Card details are entered on the gateway's own secure page — CashKitty never sees or stores your card number. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay cards, mobile wallets including bKash, Nagad, Rocket and Upay, and internet banking from the major Bangladeshi banks. SSLCommerz is the merchant processor; Deepchain Labs is the merchant of record and the party you are contracting with.

Payment happens on this website and nowhere else. Nothing is ever charged through Google Play, the Apple App Store or any other app store, and the CashKitty mobile apps take no payment of their own: choosing a plan in the app opens this website to finish. So there is no store subscription to manage or cancel, no store receipt, and nothing for a store to refund — every payment, invoice and refund for CashKitty is handled here, by us, through SSLCommerz.

Before you pay. At checkout you are asked to confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the return and refund policy. We do not tick that box for you, and no payment is started until you do.

Nothing renews by itself. We hold no card and we take no payment you have not just made: a month you have paid for runs to the day you paid up to and then the account returns to Free. There is nothing to cancel, and letting a month end costs you nothing. We write to you before it ends, and you can turn those reminders off from the Premium page. Paying again adds a further month to the end of the one you have, at the price in force when you pay, which is always shown before you do.

Ending a plan never deletes anything you have created. Every wallet, record, budget, goal, label and file stays, and stays readable. Only adding more beyond the Free limits needs Premium again.

Prices are shown in the currency the Premium page states and include any tax we are required to charge. Your bank, card issuer or wallet provider may add its own fee or convert the amount at its own rate; that part is between you and them.

Moving from monthly to Lifetime. The month you have already paid for comes off the Lifetime price in full, whatever day you switch, so you are never charged twice for the same days. The invoice shows the plan price and the credit as separate lines. A plan granted by us rather than paid for earns no credit, because nothing was paid for it.

We issue an invoice for every payment. It is emailed to the address on your account when the payment goes through, and it stays in Billing in your account, where you can read it or download it as a PDF at any time. SSLCommerz also sends you its own confirmation of the payment; two emails about one payment is normal and is not two charges.

When and how you can have money back is set out in our return and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

It is a record, not advice

CashKitty helps you keep track of your own money. It does not give financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and nothing in it should be treated as a recommendation. The figures it shows — balances, forecasts, budget projections, converted amounts — are calculated from what you record and from exchange rates supplied by a third party. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Availability

We work to keep CashKitty running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or that it will be free of faults. We may change or withdraw features; when a change takes something away that you depend on, we will give you reasonable notice.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for any loss arising from figures you did not verify. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using CashKitty whenever you like, and ask us at support@cashkitty.app to close your account and remove your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to; except in serious cases we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your records.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use CashKitty afterwards means you accept the new version. The date at the top always reflects the current text.
